The Supreme Court agreed to decide whether Donald Trump may claim immunity in the federal investigation into election fraud led by special counsel Jack Smith. The court agreed to expedite the case and hear arguments the week of April 22.
The high court ordered that a lower court ruling against Trump remain on hold until it decides the issue, effectively pausing the federal trial. More than likely the case will be delayed for another 3-5 months.
