Prominent Georgia Republican, former Lt. Gov. Geoff Duncan, will vote for Biden over Trump in 2024

Former Georgia Lt. Gov. Geoff Duncan (R) has endorsed President Biden in the 2024 Presidential Election, saying he was left with no choice but to support Biden over Donald Trump, whom he described as “a man who has disqualified himself through his conduct and his character.”

As a staunch conservative and lifelong GOP member, this will be the first time Duncan votes for a different party’s candidate.

“Unlike Trump, I’ve belonged to the GOP my entire life. This November, I am voting for a decent person I disagree with on policy over a criminal defendant without a moral compass,” Duncan said.

Duncan encourages other conservatives to do the same, rather than “fall in line” with Trump, who, with his allies, attempted to undermine the 2020 election with fake elector schemes in swing states across the country and has embroiled himself in several other criminal cases, including the New York hush-money case and Florida classified documents case.

“The GOP will never rebuild until we move on from the Trump era, leaving conservative (but not angry) Republicans like me no choice but to pull the lever for Biden.”
